Wine in Moderation highlighted during Masterclass on Port wine service

The Portuguese magazine Grandes Escolhas recently hosted an insightful Masterclass on Port wine service, led by Hioranna Arancibia, Project Management Officer at the Port Wine Association (AEVP), one of the National Coordinators of Wine in Moderation in Portugal.

This session was a unique opportunity to explore what makes Port wine so special, while also breaking down common myths and sharing practical tips for optimal service. Beyond the technical aspects, Ms. Arancibia highlighted the role of Wine in Moderation in promoting responsible consumption—emphasising that good service goes hand in hand with consumer well-being and the long-term sustainability of the wine sector.

The Masterclass reinforced the idea that enjoying wine responsibly is an essential part of both professional practice and the broader cultural experience, helping to safeguard tradition while fostering a more conscious approach to consumption.
