Deutsche Weinakademie to host WiM Supporter meeting for WiM Day 2025

The Deutsche Weinakademie (German Wine Academy), National Coordinator of Wine in Moderation in Germany, will celebrate WiM Day 2025 by organising a special WiM supporters’ meeting. The event will also welcome anyone interested in learning more about Wine in Moderation and its efforts to promote responsible and moderate wine consumption.

Over the past few years, the Deutsche Weinakademie has launched a major campaign to engage German wineries in the Wine in Moderation programme. Today, there are over 1.500 supporters in Germany, with whom DWA actively collaborates to share information, raise awareness, and promote responsible wine enjoyment. This upcoming supporters’ meeting is one of many initiatives aimed at strengthening this active and growing community.

The meeting will include an overview of current alcohol policy and feature an insightful lecture on addiction prevention by Prof. Dr. Michael Klein, a renowned expert in the field.

The evening will conclude with an opportunity to discuss current topics and common goals over a light dinner and wine, encouraging dialogue and cooperation among members and guests.
