Promoting Wine Culture Education for Responsible Consumption: Insights from John Barker's Visit to Lisbon

John Barker, a candidate for the position of Director General of OIV, recently visited Lisbon and participated in a working lunch hosted by the President of the Insituto da Vinha e do Vinho, Dr. Bernardo Gouvêa. Ambassador Caroline Bilkey of New Zealand also attended the event. One of the main topics discussed during the meeting was the need for OIV to promote best practices in educating consumers about the moderate culture of wine drinking.
