“THE GREATEST WINE? THE ONE THAT YOU’LL REMEMBER.”:  A THIRD EDITION TO BE REMEMBERED…AS WELL

PRESS RELEASE – Brussels, 12/11/2025 – The third edition of the international Wine in Moderation Day, celebrated on 8 November 2025, has once again proven to be a resounding success. Under the theme The greatest wine? The one that you’ll remember”, the campaign reached new levels of global participation, spreading the message of responsible and moderate wine enjoyment to an ever-wider audience.

For this third edition, the celebration saw remarkable international engagement, with National Coordinators, Supporters, and Partners mobilising across continents to create memorable and impactful activities. From educational initiatives, to press conferences, and professional events to dynamic online campaigns, the Wine in Moderation message resonated strongly in diverse cultural contexts, highlighting how moderation is at the very heart of wine culture everywhere around the world.

The campaign generated significant visibility across social media and press channels, with hundreds of posts, thousands of likes and hundreds of stories. Activities brought together professionals, educators, and wine lovers around the shared value of moderation.

Wine in Moderation President, Sandro Sartor expressed: “It is inspiring to witness how, year after year, the Wine in Moderation Day continues to grow and bring together people across borders. This third edition has shown that our message is not only relevant, but also deeply embraced by the global wine community with both professionals and consumers relating to the message. We are proud of the creativity and enthusiasm demonstrated in every country, and we look forward to seeing this celebration become an even stronger tradition in the years ahead.”

The International Wine in Moderation Day is organised annually by the WiM Association to celebrate wine’s heritage while educating consumers about the importance of moderation. The campaign is part of the Association’s ongoing mission to inspire responsible choices every day of the year, with the dedicated celebration on 8 November serving as a powerful reminder that the true enjoyment of wine lies in moderation and memorable moments.
