Third edition of Responsible Service train-the-trainer programme

The third edition of the Responsible Service train-the-trainer programme was held this year in an online format, bringing together participants from Chile, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

The training covered key modules including Wine & Health, Legal Framework, Self-Regulation and the Wine Communication Standards, Creating the Right Environment, and Oenoturism: diversifying the offer, offering participants a well-rounded understanding of responsible service.

The programme was delivered over two afternoons, allowing participants time to absorb the content and return with thoughtful reflections and questions. The interactive format encouraged discussion and exchange, and the future trainers brought great enthusiasm and engagement to the sessions.

Following two previous editions held in person, this year’s online format offered a new way to connect internationally. The aim of these train-the-trainer sessions is to prepare future trainers to deliver the Responsible Service programme in their own countries, by providing them with the knowledge, confidence, and sound judgement needed to address complex or sensitive questions effectively.
