The Deutsche Weinakademie, National Coordinator of Wine in Moderation in Germany, will take part in the 65th International German Winegrowers' Association (DWV) Congress on 1 December 2025.

Held under the patronage of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), the congress aims to raise public awareness of winegrowing issues and highlight the significance and challenges of German viticulture to government agencies and authorities.

This year’s theme, “Focus on producers – the future and competitiveness of viticulture in the EU”, will address current political and regulatory issues affecting the sector. Attendees can look forward to keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive exchanges with regional, national, and European representatives from both politics and the wine industry.

The Deutsche Weinakademie will feature a Wine in Moderation information stand, promoting the importance of responsible consumption—a key element for ensuring a sustainable future for the wine sector.
