FEV and OIVE sign new alliance with Hostelería de España

The Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) and the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organisation (OIVE) have joined forces with Spanish Hospitality Sector (Hostelería de España) to launch the “Alliance with the Wine Sector”, a landmark partnership designed to strengthen the ties between wine culture and hospitality and to promote a shared vision for the future.

The alliance sets out a roadmap built around key areas such as training, wine and gastronomy tourism, sustainability, rural development and the promotion of wine culture. A central pillar of the agreement is the commitment to encourage responsible wine consumption through initiatives such as Wine in Moderation, helping professionals and consumers alike to better understand the role of moderation, responsible service and informed choices. This new alliance reinforces the agreement reached in 2023—on the occasion of Wine in Moderation Day—to include WiM’s Responsible Service training among the educational offer to HORECA professionals.
